Statewide Campaign Aims to Address Health in ECE

The discussions focus on physical activity, healthy eating, and screen time. In the past year, The Food Trust in Philadelphia, PA along with its organizational partners including Black Child Development Institute and First Up, have hosted advocacy training for parents and providers who were interested in becoming community champions for the Healthy ECE Campaign. Materials and resources for the Healthy ECE Campaign include:
the “Why Healthy ECE Matters” report with findings and recommendations; and
information on a related campaign for those looking to make their early learning programs healthier.
