Anyone with an appointment must wear a mask unless they have a medical condition that prevents them from doing so. Staff will take everyone’s temperature as they enter the ELRC Region 5 suite, and anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
ELRC Region 5 staff will work to accommodate everyone’s appointments while ensuring appropriate distancing practices. Those with appointments are asked to come alone and should consider waiting outside of the suite until a staff member is ready for them to avoid overcrowding the space.
Virtual and phone appointments will continue to be available for convenience and safety. Clients can contact their family specialist, family navigator or early learning program engagement specialist to coordinate their meeting to occur by phone.
In-person operations will continue to be dependent on recommendations provided by Governor Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The ELRC Region 5 will continue to monitor these recommendations as well as the reopening status of Allegheny County.
