The PA Workforce Development Board invites the public to provide input on Pennsylvania’s 2024-2028 workforce development strategies for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) state plan.

This plan will establish broad goals for a comprehensive workforce development system that focuses on:
Apprenticeship and Career & Technical Education
Industry Partnerships and Employer Engagement
Youth
Continuous Improvement of the One-Stop System
Barrier Remediation
Worker Shortages in Critical Industries
These listening sessions present an opportunity for the public to:
Discuss these broad goals,
Identify areas of concern, and
Discuss ideas for innovation and improvements.
