Study: How Do Four-Year-Old Children Learn & Think?
A new local study is looking to learn how parents and their four-year-old children interact with one another, and how these interactions help prepare these children for school.

The Parents Promoting Early Learning (PPEL) study at the University of Pittsburgh is looking for parents with four-year-old children who are willing to participate.
Study participation will include:
two visits to one’s home or the PPEL office for a caregiver and their child to complete games and assessments;
questionnaires and interviews about the development and activities of the child;
a one-year follow-up visit for more games and assessments; and
compensation.
