The Pennsylvania Key has released Program Quality Assessment professional development calendars for child care providers.

The calendars include all Environment Rating Scales (ERS) and Program Observation Instruments (POI) trainings that are being offered September through December 2023.

The available ERS trainings are:

  • Foundations of Environment Rating Scales (ERS)

  • Foundations of Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale – Revised (FCCERS-R) – Spanish version also available

  • Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale – Revised (FCCERS-R) -Spanish version also available

  • Infant/Toddler Environment Rating Scale – Revised (ITERS-R)

  • Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale – Revised (ECERS-R)

  • Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale, Third Edition (ECERS-3)

  • School-Age Environment Rating Scale Updated (SACERS-U)

The available POI trainings are:

  • PA Foundations of Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS®)

  • Infant Classroom Assessment Scoring System®

  • Toddler Classroom Assessment Scoring System®

  • Program Administration Scale (PAS)

  • Business Administration Scale (BAS)

Live virtual sessions are facilitated by a Program Quality Assessor.
