UPDATED: Obsolete Certification Announcements for Certified Child Care Providers
As of June 15, 2021, the Governor Tom Wolf’s Proclamation of Disaster Emergency ended. The Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) has stated that several Announcements for certified child care providers that were linked to the duration of that Disaster Proclamation will end in August and September.

To assist child care providers with the transition of the reinstatement of the regulatory requirements, OCDEL has provided a Regulation Suspension End Dates: OCDEL Guidance Chart. The chart outlines the legal citations, regulatory language that was suspended, and when child care certification staff will begin measuring compliance for the regulations that were suspended, as some of the compliance dates will vary.

Announcement C-21-04: Best Practices for Child Care Facilities Operating During the Novel Coronavirus will remain in effect until OCDEL issues a separate announcement rescinding the COVID-19 related policies and the suspension of regulatory waivers.
