The Homewood Infant Oral Health Program is now open to participants.

Homewood families with children younger than age 3 can participate in a free virtual visit over Zoom with dentist Dr. Jacqueline Burgette. During the televisit, Burgette will discuss how families can keep their children cavity-free, demonstrate toothbrushing on a spirited toddler, and answer questions tailored to the family's needs.

This oral health education is intended to minimize dental treatment needs, particularly during the pandemic, and establish healthy habits. At the end of the visit, Burgette can assist families to schedule dental visits and connect them to resources at the Pitt Community Engagement Center in Homewood.
