Every three years, the Administration for Children and Families' Office of Child Care requires states to submit a CCDF State Plan that describes how they will administer CCDF dollars in their state’s child care system. This includes all activities in Pennsylvania related to child care licensing, professional development, quality improvement, and subsidized child care.
In preparation for developing Pennsylvania’s next plan, the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) is seeking robust stakeholder input around what is working, what is challenging and what child care providers think should be Pennsylvania’s priorities for Child Care Works (CCW) moving forward.
Providers are invited to share experiences and ideas with Karen Grimm-Thomas from OCDEL about what the CCDF State Plan should look like over the next three years.
The Virtual Director Roundtable sessions are held via Zoom:
In addition to listening sessions, OCDEL anticipates posting the draft plan for public comment in the first quarter of 2021. The current deadline for plan submission is June 30, 2021.
