Family Specialist
Family specialists introduce families to the services and supports provided by the ELRC subsidized child care program. The Family specialists process applications for subsidized child care in Allegheny County and refer families and children to other community-based programs and supports.

Front Desk
The ELRC Region 5 Front Desk staffer is responsible for answering phones, greeting families and child care providers, handling incoming and outgoing mail and uploading and maintaining records in an electronic filing system. This position is responsible for operating a multi-line phone system to facilitate communication to all ELRC departments.

Grant Manager
The Grant Manager provides key operational support for early care and education professionals in helping to initiate and manage grant awards. The Manager is responsible for the overall contractual process for the provider’s program award ensuring contractual documents comply with all relevant policies, guidance, and procedures. The Grant Manager will work collaboratively with ELRC Region 5 and Trying Together Quality Initiatives staff to facilitate the grant award process.

Quality Coach
The ELRC Region 5 Quality Coach supports program administrators, classroom teachers, and assistant teachers and home based child care providers to develop new skills and continuously improve their early childhood teaching practices to achieve higher program quality. The Quality Coach engages program administration and staff that work with children in a collaborative process that involves observation, reflective communication, professional growth, role-modeling and goal setting.
