Upcoming Deadline: CDA Renewal Amnesty Program

The Council of Professional Recognition’s deadline for the Child Development Associate (CDA) Renewal Amnesty program is coming up on December 31, 2021.

Pennsylvania early care and education professionals with a lapsed or expired CDA Credential can apply for the amnesty program. The CDA expiration date can go as far back as January 1, 2010.

The cost is $125. All applications and payments must be submitted by the June 1 deadline.

Renewal requirements are available online. Applicants can submit materials via the “YourCouncil CDA” portal system.

The renewal program is eligible for Rising Stars Tuition Assistance (RSTA). To apply for Financial assistance, ECE professionals need to complete their profile in the PD Registry to see the Financial Assistance tab. For more information about RSTA, visit the Rising STARS page on the PA Key website.
