CDA Amnesty Program to Begin in 2020

Beginning in 2020, Pennsylvania early care and education professionals with a lapsed or expired Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential will be able to apply for the CDA Renewal Amnesty program.

Early educators who completed their CDA any time after January 1, 2010 and who did not submit a renewal to keep it current can take advantage of the CDA Renewal Amnesty program.

For eligibility, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Rising Starts Tuition Assistance (RSTA) is available for the CDA Amnesty Renewal program. To view full RSTA criteria and apply for financial assistance, early educators need to complete their profile in the PD Registry. Register

The CDA Amnesty Renewal program is available from January 1 - March 31, 2020. Applications are $125.00. All application information and payments must be submitted online by March 31, 2020.
