The Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) has extended the public comment period for Pennsylvania’s FFY 2022-24 Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) Draft State Plan to May 24, 2021.
Learn More
Every three years, the Administration for Children and Families' Office of Child Care (OCC) requires states to submit a CCDF State Plan that describes how they will administer CCDF dollars in their state’s child care system. This includes all activities in Pennsylvania related to child care licensing, professional development, quality improvement, and subsidized child care.
Public Comment
All stakeholders have the opportunity to review the draft plan and submit comments in writing. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to attend a virtual public hearing and if interested, provide testimony.
Comments can be submitted online or via postal mail to:
The Office of Child Development and Early Learning
333 Market Street, 6th Floor
Harrisburg, PA 17101
To better facilitate the incorporation of all comments, the preferred method of submitting comments is through the web based portal. Participants are asked to only submit comments via USPS if they do not have access to the internet and the web based portal.
