Financial Assistance for Families

High-quality child care is essential for young children's healthy development. Despite being a necessity, the cost of providing this care can be overwhelming for working families. It is now reported that the average annual cost of high-quality child care now exceeds that of state college.

How will you pay for child care? Depending on your household income, there are supports available. If your household income is no more than twice (200%) of the Federal Poverty Income Guideline (FPIG), your child is 13 years of age or younger, and you are a working parent or going to school, you qualify for the Child Care Works (CCW) Subsidized Child Care program.
