Join Allegheny County Department of Human Services (ACDHS), Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time (APOST), and Trying Together on Monday, April 15, 2024, for The Huddle: How to Use Coaching Skills with your Staff (and Students) featuring keynote speaker Katherine Spinney.
About the Workshop
Increasingly the professional world is experiencing the benefits and impact of coaching in the workplace. This is especially true of Millennials who have named coaching as one of the most important components they look for in a job. So how can out-of-school (OST) time and summer camp directors and other staff managers incorporate coaching skills into their management style to support staff and clients alike?
Hear from speaker Katherine Spinney how basic coaching skills can be taught and used by anyone to better support their staff and clients, and develop strong teams and programs. Telling people what to do is not nearly as effective as coaching them to access their strengths so they can develop and implement solutions; let Katherine “help you and your staff transform from struggling to thriving too!”
This professional development workshop is for:
directors and those managing staff at early learning programs that regularly offer out-of-school (OST) time and summer camp programming
directors and those managing staff at OST and summer camp programs for children of all ages.
