Pop-Up Resource Fairs for Overdose Prevention

The Allegheny County Departments of Health and Human Services are kicking off their fall pop-ups to take overdose prevention resources into county communities.

During the week of International Overdose Awareness Day (Aug. 31) and the start of September's National Recovery Month, there are two resource fairs, and others will follow.

Dates and locations for pop-event events include:

  • Sept. 2 - Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh - Allegheny Branch (1230 Federal St.)

  • Sept. 4 - New Beginnings (20 Bailey Ave.)

  • Sept. 10 - AC Housing Authority - Dumplin Hall (502 Hays St.)

  • Sept. 11 - Grant Avenue Pocket Park (518 Grant Ave.)

All pop-ups run from noon to 4 p.m. More information can be found on the Connect Protect Recover website.
