Pennsylvania Women Work is hosting a free course in June for professional women. The course will give them tools to overcome workplace challenges and maximize their impact.

Empowerment in the Workplace is aimed at women who are working and can bring their successes and challenges to share with the class. The seven-hour course consists of interactive classroom time and a panel discussion with women leaders.
Topics covered in the course include:
Establishing presence and projecting confidence
Building a network of supporters
Overcoming imposter syndrome
Being heard in group settings
Being able to say "no" and setting workplace boundaries
Negotiating to get what you want
Hearing from women who have overcome challenges and built successful careers
The event will be held on Saturday, June 8 at the Mt. Lebanon Public Library, located at 16 Castle Shannon Boulevard in Pittsburgh. Library doors will open at 9:15 a.m. for participants to grab coffee and pastries. The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.
