In this workshop for early childhood and K12 educators presented by The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, you will learn to reframe the way you define music through mindfully exploring the sound of your environment and grounding yourself in the present moment. When we listen deeply and are present to what is in front of us right now, we become more responsive as educators.
These practical exercises can be tools to use in the classroom to focus students, explore music and sound in a new way, or to center yourself as an educator and bring about our own best practices.
