Connections and Conversations: Elevating ECE During Pennsylvania's Budget Process

Connections and Conversations Virtual Check-Ins are interactive sessions that highlight topics of interest to the field of early childhood education. Participants will engage in virtual discussions via Zoom with child development experts while interacting with early learning practitioners to share questions, experiences, and expertise about the highlighted topic.

Join Trying Together on Wednesday, March 31 for “Connections and Conversations: Strengthening Family Engagement – Tools for Positive Partnering.

This conversation will focus on early childhood funding in Pennsylvania. Presenters will share updates on the 2021 budget process including the Governor’s proposal and how to influence state legislators to make increased investments in child care and pre-k. Additionally, presenters will provide tools and resources for advocating at the state level. The goal is that by the end of the conversation participants will commit to take an action and use their voice to elevate Early Childhood Education (ECE).
