Connections and Conversations Virtual Check-Ins are interactive sessions that highlight topics of interest to the field of early childhood education. Participants will engage in virtual discussions via Zoom with child development experts while interacting with early learning practitioners to share questions, experiences, and expertise about the highlighted topic.
Join Trying Together on Wednesday, February 17 for “Connections and Conversations: Family-Centered Services – Early Head Start Model.”
This session will define and explore the processes of family-centered service models as well as introduce some basic knowledge and concepts that tie into the Early Head Start Model. Participants will receive an overview of family-centered practices and how they benefit both the child and the family. Participants should leave with basic knowledge of family-centered models, specifically those used within the Early Head Start (birth to three years old) as well as learn more about the benefits of being a part of an Early Head Start program as a professional and as a caregiver.
