Brazelton Touchpoints Center: Parenting While Rising to Child Developmental Challenges

Brazelton Touchpoints Center will host a free, five-episode virtual conversation series that focuses on connecting parents whose children have developmental challenges.

"Parenting While Rising to Child Developmental Challenges" will provide the opportunity to connect parents and families of children with differences in or challenges to their development. Through a series of conversations with parents of children with developmental differences, challenges, and disabilities, the series will explore the unique and common experiences of raising children whose developmental process is delayed or atypical.

The series will discuss the challenges and joys of family life with children with a wide array of ways of being in the world. Over the five conversations, it will cover a variety of topics that will enable participants to learn from each other how to best support and advocate for their children and community.

The series will run for five Mondays:

  • Sept. 9

  • Sept. 23

  • Oct. 21

  • Nov. 4

  • Dec. 9

Each session will begin at 3 p.m. ET and last for about an hour. Live Spanish translation and closed captioning will be available.
